Geraldine Berreen A.G.S.M. violin
Geraldine studied violin under the guidance of Detlef Hahn at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
As well as performing with The Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, The Orchestra of St John Smiths Square and The Birmingham Royal Ballet she has also toured Spain with the London Schubert Orchestra.
Eleanor Gilchrist GMus, R.N.C.M.(Hons) MMus violin
Eleanor studied the violin at The Royal Northern College of Music and Mannes College of Music in New York. While she was studying in the U.S.A. Eleanor also attended The Pierre Monteaux School and The National Orchestral Institute and she was leader of the violin section in the Britten-Pears Orchestra and The Baroque Orchestra.
As a freelance she regularly plays for The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and Opera North, She also performs with a variety of specialist chamber orchestras including period specialist chamber groups playing baroque and early music on period instruments.
Teresa Whipple A.G.S.M. viola
Teresa studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Ian Jewel and John Glickman where she received extensive training in chamber and orchestral music.
She has pursued a varied freelance career which includes West End Musicals such as Dr Doolittle and Les Miserables, orchestral work such as The Orchestra dell Emilia Romagna in Italy, The Orchestra of St Brides, The City of London Chamber Orchestra and The Sirius Orchestra.
Abigail Trundle G.G.S.M. cello
Abigail studied cello with Stefan Popov, graduating with a BMus, she continued at Guildhall School of Music and Drama completing a post graduate course in chamber music.
Apart from her work with the quartet, as a freelance musician her experience includes playing in West End musicals, for example Les Miserables and the d'Oyly Carte Opera Company, touring with Opera Della Luna, English National Ballet and London Sinfonitetta and working with many pop bands such as The Spice Girls, Jools Holland, and Tears for Fears.
